In 1968, MLK underscored the importance of service, emphasizing that the volunteer needs no special skill or credential to be of value to humanity.  You are needed. You have worth.  And you can make a difference.

On Monday, 18 January 2015, let your heart be filled with grace, and join us for an afternoon of service to the elderly in our neighborhood.  The Dornsife Center for Community Engagement, ASWU and Student Diversity, Equity and Inclusion will provide transportation to the Unity March downtown, followed by a lunch in the HUB for volunteers, then service at Rockwood at Hawthorne from 1 to 4 PM.
