Come see the beautiful garden the House of Charity has planted!  We are growing tomatoes, cucumbers, carrots, lettuce, herbs, broccoli, onions, and even some beautiful flowers!  We need your help weeding, watering, fertilizing, and harvesting all throughout the growing season this year. Food harvested will help our kitchen serve hundreds of homeless and transient in our population nutritious daily meals.


We will provide all tools, gloves, and supplies necessary. Day of the week and time of shift very flexible.


Ability to kneel, lift, stand, and squat for periods of time.  Basic knowledge regarding urban gardening a plus.  Garden located in an urban area with a moderate level of noise and activity.  Interested applicants must fill out a volunteer form at or contact Cassandra Mooter at
