Who We Are
Various projects are available, to include: evening or weekend resident services that build relationships with individual women and children through assistance with activities, tutoring, etc,; after-school children's programming, including assisting with homework, sharing Christ, etc.; nursery assistance include infant care and playing with toddlers; sorting donations; teaching classes or assisting with Bible study.
What We Do
Opened in September 2012, the UGM Center for Women and Children is the first long-term, residential recovery center for women with children in Kootenai County. Based on the success of UGM's Women's Recovery in Spokane, the Center provides a warm, home-like setting in which to explore and confront the issues surrounding abuse, addiction and homelessness. With the love of Christ as the foundation, healing permeates body, mind and spirit, and lives are transformed from the inside out.
