Who We Are
World Relief is an evangelical based non-profit, which is partnered with the federal government. World Relief is a refugee resettlement agency, which permanently resettles refugees in Spokane.
Our work depends heavily on volunteer support. There are a variety of different ways in which someone can serve. Students serving at World Relief must attend a volunteer orientation, complete an application process, and background check.
We seek volunteers to work as Cultural Companions alongside families/individuals, with a three-month minimum commitment. Volunteers can also serve as case management assistants here in our office, in which you work alongside staff and clients within the office setting.
What We Do
In community with the local Church, World Relief works with refugees and envisions the most vulnerable people transformed economically, socially, and spiritually. World Relief Spokane currently provides refugee resettlement assistance, employment services, micro-enterprise loans, and immigration services.
