Who We Are

Volunteers work with women in the Kitchen, helping with the production and sales of dried food gift baskets which contain a variety of bean soups, cookie mixes, cocoa, tea and corn bread mixes and other dried food products. Students will also participate in Bible study and have lunch with the team.

We would encourage you to start on Thursday mornings.  All of the women who work here and/or volunteer are here on Thursday's from 8:30 a.m. until noon.  At noon, we all share a meal and prayer requests together.  It really gives people an understanding of why we do what we do. A typical Thursday is over by 1:00 p.m.

We do have some times on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday that are available for you to serve, feel free to call for availability.
Currently there are no Saturday volunteering opportunities.

What We Do

Christ Kitchen is a non-profit Christian ministry providing work, job training, and fellowship for women in poverty in Spokane, WA through production and sales of food gift baskets which contain a variety of dried food products including bean soups, cookie mixes, cocoa, brownie mixes, teas, colored popcorn, corn bread mixes and other food products. This ministry enables women to learn to work, to become employable and eventually to support themselves and their families without reliance on government programs or destructive relationships.
