Excelsior Youth Center

Volunteer support enables Excelsior to provide services and programs beyond the basic necessities and contributes greatly to our success. Our recreation therapy, various leisure activities, after school enrichment, religious groups and some educational programs are particularly dependent upon our volunteers. Long-term commitments available for practicum students by contacting Josh Martin in Human Resources. Practicum students should be prepared to submit a resume, undergo a background check and be present at an interview to determine suitability.

Excelsior Youth Center is a nonprofit, private agency, located in north Spokane, Washington. For over 30 years we have provided behavioral health services to youth and their families through several programs, both inpatient and outpatient. In an effort to serve the whole person, not just a presenting problem, Excelsior provides a holistic approach, offers co-occurring treatment, and specialized services to all individuals. Excelsior Youth Center is organized to operate and administer programs designed for the rehabilitation of youth who evidence the need for structured supervision, professional counseling, and training for social and emotional growth. The organization is committed to excellence in the care, treatment, and education of emotionally impaired children and adolescents.
