Volunteers come Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, typically for about one to two hours at a time, between the hours of 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. There is some flexibility depending on the individual's schedule, but all volunteers who come to serve schedule their time with me, so that I am aware and prepared, and hopefully escape any major conflicts due to the fact that our working space is very limited.
We do have volunteers come on Thursdays for our Bible Study and production, starting at 9am and going until 12p. Bible study starts at 9a and then production is from 10a-12p. Production is where our dry ingredient packages are put together, whether it is stickering labels, hole-punching, or threading fabric and bowing. We also have various jobs such as preparing our lunch boxes for catering events, folding brochures, etc. At noon, we are provided lunch and have prayer time together. Thursdays are a great day to serve, because you get to experience the ministry at work in its entirety, and interact with the women we serve!
