Volunteers in this role will act as small group facilitators for 6-8 high school seniors training to be peer mentors.
This event is hosted at Whitworth University October 16th
Volunteers will arrive early to help set up the event and then welcome participants to the space. Activities and schedule are pre-set and will be reviewed with the volunteers prior to the event.
Time commitment:
- 1 hour zoom event overview the week prior to October 16th
- October 16th 8am - 2pm (can do a portion of the day we will pair you up with another student)
Volunteers' main focuses will be:
- encouraging attendees
- facilitating small group discussions
- helping attendees complete activities
Lunch will be provided.
