The Crisis Shelter for Women and Children exists to provide a safe, healthy, short-term refuge for women and children in crisis. The Shelter strives to keep as many women and children off the streets as possible and admits guests until it reaches full capacity. A playground for younger children was created adjacent to the facility, providing a safe, clean play area for the children at the Shelter.
JOB TITLE: Intake Desk Support (doing a little bit of everything)
- Check Guests in and out
- Hand out bedding, toiletries, etc. to guests during check-in
- Pray for and encourage our guests/children as needed
- Must have strong boundaries
- Manage the overall safety of the shelter
Location and parking. We are located at 1515 E. Illinois in Spokane. Offstreet parking is available across the street to west of the main entrance doors. On arrival, please enter through the door NOT labeled "Guest Check in."
