Who We Are

Our mission is to create and support one-to-one mentoring relationships that ignite the power and promise of youth.

What We Do

We have several programs focusing on matching youth in the community with a volunteer. Contact our office at 328-8310, ext 101 to hear more about the right opportunity for you.

Community Based Program- We match youth ages 6-12 years of age in the community who need and want a mentor with an adult volunteer.  The match (Little and Big) get together and enjoy mutually fun, low cost activities 2-4 times a month, 2-4 hours each time.  The time commitment is eighteen months.

Site-Based Program- This program matches a volunteer who meets with the student at their elementary school one time a week during their lunch and recess, about 45 minutes.  The time commitment is one  academic school year.

MPower- This program is part of a collective with other agencies working with the support of LaunchNW. The program will match college students and adults as mentors to high school aged youth at Shadle Park and Mt. Spokane High Schools. The focus of the mentorship is to help students successfully navigate the transition from high school to trade school, 2 year, 4 year or military education post high school. Mentors will meet with their mentee a minimum of twice monthly at the students high school and have other options for mentorship outside of those meetings.
