Volunteers of America is dedicated to removing the barriers that prevent people from becoming successfully housed. We provide emergency shelters and housing programs with access to case managers, housing specialists, peer support specialists, and behavioral health clinicians who provide one-on-one support and encouragement. We walk beside people as they transition out of homelessness by learning to manage their medical and mental health care and finances, and by gaining independent living skills, education, employment, and other important components of a stable and independent life.
