Who We Are
B5 has worked from a repurposed apartment in a low income, high density housing area where new arrival refugees make their first home in Kennewick, WA for 14 years. We started as a church ministry but became a 501c3 in 2014. Our work is growing because the need is growing. Our mission: to support new arrival refugees and immigrants through education, relationships, and community so they can thrive in their new home. Our vision: Create a community of open hearts, helping hands and supportive systems where strangers become friends and we all thrive.
What We Do
B5 delivers educational classes and after-school programs for refugee families as a bridge to their success. Adult ESL and citizenship programs After school and summer programs for school aged youth.
