Who We Are

The Salvation Army has been transforming the lives of the most vulnerable families and children in Spokane since 1891. Today, we continue to respond to the ever-changing needs of the community, serving the most vulnerable population in Spokane County with social services programs that transforms lives while providing hope. Our commitment and vision is to help the whole person physically, emotionally, and spiritually without discrimination and always with dignity and respect.

All volunteers, whether for short-term or long-term service, must complete an application and submit it to Mary Gayle Johnson, Volunteer Coordinator. Applications are available via email and in person at The Salvation Army.
