Penrith Farms

Students may assist counseling staff who oversee individual and group counseling. They may mentor and tutor clients completing courses toward high-school and Associates degrees at nearby schools and colleges. Penrith Farms also seeks volunteers to help with Life-Skills classes, music programming, gardening opportunities and vocational training in areas like photography, animal husbandry, automotive and small engine repair and computers. Penrith Farms is a co-ed experiential learning program for young adults, 18 and over, that need instruction and guidance in their lives. We provide complete wrap-around services in a dynamic setting where students will learn the virtues of Compassion, Diligence, Honesty, and Humility. Penrith Farm's focus is to create realistic experiences that translate from a simple yet challenging lifestyle to the real world as it is. On a daily basis, these experiences are designed to both challenge and inspire young adults to make a commitment to change their behaviors and thinking process. Penrith Farm teaches young adults the benefits of a positive work ethic, effective communication skills and most importantly taking responsibility for one's actions and outcome.
