Who We Are
Support is provided for medication management, healthcare services support, reminders for personal hygiene, assisting with scheduling and occasionally providing transportation for shcool, work, and activities. We are looking for volunteers to help with resident activities such as going to the YMCA, taking walks, playing sports, and participating in local community events.
What We Do
Home is Where the Heart Is has 2 assisted living facilities that provide support for a total of 39 young adults with intellectual disabilities and/or mental health diagnoses. Our second facility recently opened on 2/20/2014 and we are still in the process of moving residents in.
