FREE DINNER PARTIES (We don't call them Soup Kitchens.)
Our DINNER PARTIES are a MINISTRY offering a free meal to the Mead community every Wednesday. Everyone is invited. We have had as many as 120 guests but usually have 60 to 70. Families come to the Food Bank in the same building and are able to have a meal while they wait.
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
Our church is a small church and we are dependent on volunteers to keep our ministry staffed. Volunteers are scheduled a month in advance. Those volunteering to serve are required to have a WASHINGTON STATE FOOD HANDLER'S CARD. These are available online for $10.
There are 3 shifts to choose from:
Set Up Shift: 2:00 – 4:00 (1 or 2 people)
Serving Shift: 4:00 – 7:00 (3 people)
