Who We Are
ART, COMMUNITY, AND ECONOMIC STABILITY Our mission is to support local emerging artists and culture creators by creating community through our annual events and ongoing programming. We believe that art, as a part of a robust culture, helps us more fully understand our world and what it means to be human. What began as a one-time event aimed at fighting the out-migration of our most talented and creative young artists, musicians and innovators has grown to become an organization focused on building community, cultivating a sense of pride in the area, and by modeling the incredible things that are possible here.
What We Do
Since 2008, Terrain has fought the out-migration of our most talented and creative young artists, musicians, and innovators by building community, cultivating a sense of pride in the area, and by modeling the incredible things that are possible here. Terrain works to make the Inland Northwest a stronger, more beautiful and prosperous place by supporting young and emerging artists and culture creators. Since its humble beginnings Terrain has become a non-profit that now has three flagship events; Terrain, Bazaar, Uncharted and three flagship programs; Window Dressing, Range, and a permanent Terrain Gallery space as well as running an event space for performing artists.
