Who We Are

GRIP (Gang Repression, Intervention and Prevention), which is a DSHS funded mentorship program designed to enrich the lives of individuals who are exhibiting concerning behaviors that put them at-risk for criminality and/or gang affiliation. We serve youth and young adults aged 12 to 24. Through the assistance of a mentor GRIP provides gang prevention support, pro-social activities and numerous connections to resources such as: housing, food, legal and re-entry services, mental health and addiction recovery, familial support services, and other diversion and juvenile justice programs and providing opportunities through resume building, job-skills training, business round-tables, plus vocational and educational programs.

What We Do

Our services aim to strengthen families, improve academics, reduce recidivism and promote pro-social development and success, with the hopes of providing the community with organizational change through the expansion of mentor services, additional research options/topics, as well as new and more effective methods for using and distributing community resource in all of Spokane County.
