This event seeks to offer services in one day, in one location to the citizens in our community facing homelessness that could otherwise take them weeks to access. This is our fourth annual Homeless Connect, which will take place Tuesday January 27th at the Salvation Army. In the past, we have served 200-300 homeless or in crisis folks in just one day, and with our new location we anticipate an even larger number!
We need volunteers to assist in the following areas:
- Concierge/Hospitality (Assist people to and from services)
- Food Service (Passing out and collection of food)
- Kitchen (Helping manage the flow of the kitchen.)
- Clothing (Sorting and passing out.)
** Mandatory Training will be provided January 22nd
