GRIP(Gang Repression Intervention and Prevention) is seeking mentors to serve youth and young adults aged 12 to 24 throughout Spokane County. A mentor will serve as a dependable friend that will look out for the youth's well-being, serve as a trusted ear, a connection to resources and employment assistance, and will help get the youth re-engaged in a program that is individualized based on their needs.
Mentor Eligibility:
- Must be 18 years old
- Reside in within Spokane County
- Agree to a 1-year commitment
- Ability to communicate with your mentee at least once a week
- Complete a DSHS Background check
- Participate in the GRIP mentor training
