URGENT NEED: Holiday Decorating Volunteers (Immediate Start)
Project Overview: Spread Holiday Cheer at Rockwood!
Rockwood at Whitworth is looking for enthusiastic student volunteers to help us transform our indoor community spaces for the Christmas and Holiday season! This is a fantastic, flexible opportunity to directly engage in community service and bring joy to our residents during the holidays.
What You Will Be Doing:
Volunteers will assist the Wellness and Activities teams with the hands-on tasks of decorating the main indoor common areas, including:
Unpacking and organizing decorations (lights, garland, ornaments).
Stringing lights and hanging garland in common spaces.
Trimming and decorating Christmas trees.
Setting up festive display tables and arrangements.
Flexible Time Commitment:
We understand student schedules are busy! We need help throughout the first two weeks of December.
Dates: December 1st – December 12th (Weekdays only)
Time: Come by anytime between 9:30 AM and 5:00 PM!
Duration: We would love for volunteers to stay for an hour or so helping us out, but any time you can spare is appreciated!
What We're Looking For:
Ability: Comfortable with light physical activity, including standing, bending, and reaching.
Attitude: Enthusiasm, creativity, and a positive attitude!
