Schedule: Flexible (Weekly or Bi-weekly sessions)
Target Group: Whitworth University Students (Golf enthusiasts, Club players, or Athletes)
About the Role: Do you have a passion for golf and a knack for coaching? We are looking for energetic, golf-loving students to connect with our resident golfers! Whether it’s refining a swing, mastering the mental game, or just sharing tips on the latest gear, we want to bring your expertise to our community.
What You’ll Do:
Skill Clinics: Host "Pro-Tip" sessions on putting, chipping, or swing mechanics.
Strategy Sessions: Discuss course management and game strategy with our experienced resident players.
Social Connection: Build meaningful relationships with seniors through a shared love of the sport.
Technology Assistance: (Optional) Help residents navigate golf simulation tools or swing-analysis apps.
Why Volunteer?
Share your skills and "show off" your game in a supportive, appreciative environment.
Gain experience in coaching and interpersonal communication.
Network with residents who have a lifetime of professional and personal experience.
Perfect for students in Exercise Science, Athletics, or Community Leadership.
How to Apply: If you're ready to help our residents "up their game," please contact Cassandra Brazfield, Wellness Coordinator, at (509) 606-4962 or stop by the Wellness Office at Rockwood at Whitworth.
