This is a project that began by several facilities services employees a few years ago. We're using permaculture techniques to reclaim a desert/sandy hillside to make it usable and edible for the community.
Physical labor (Gardening/Landscaping) ... if you need to shower before returning to work, facilities are available in the URec.
Serve alongside student volunteers. (Currently there is a Residence Hall Leadership Team that will serve here. So you will be serving alongside student leaders).
Located behind the fieldhouse.
If you cannot serve the whole time, this is a perfect site for you to volunteer for just an hour or two.
