Volunteers are the heart of the Vanessa Behan. Please see our list of volunteer opportunities to find out more about our current openings. Volunteers must be 18 years of age or older. You are asked to make a six-month commitment of at least 5 hours a per month for the Childcare Volunteer position.
Our Receptionist and Kitchen volunteers also commit to a minimum 6 months of service and have a weekly 4-hour shift. Volunteers must pass an interview, receive positive feedback from three professional references, clear a FBI fingerprinting background check, fulfill other licensing requirements, and attend an informative Vanessa's Promise Tour. We also accept students seeking an internship or practicum.
