House Volunteer Positions
Position Description
At Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Inland Northwest (RMHC), volunteers have the opportunity to join the Family Services team in completing tasks that make the house a hospitable space for families and guests. Volunteer tasks include, but are not limited to:
- Providing a clean and comfortable environment throughout all guest rooms, kitchens, and common areas.
- Organizing supplies
- Accepting and distributing donations
Additional duties may be assigned according to experience, request, and need.
House Volunteers typically spend most of their shift standing and moving about the house. Some light lifting and physical tasks will be required.
Requirements/Qualifications
- Must have a positive attitude and desire to serve all guests and visitors equally
- Must pass a criminal background check
- Must be at least 18 years of age
Ronald McDonald House does not accommodate court ordered community service.
Scheduling
Volunteers are asked to commit to one four-hour shift every week for a longer term (6+ months).
