Come and join us at Shadle Park Presbyterian Church for a Community Gardening Event!
If you like low-key events that provide both relaxation and service opportunities, this is the event for you!
Students will assist the Growing Neighbors non-profit organization with gardening tasks. These tasks could include pulling weeds, planting seedlings, and watering.
A Whitworth van with limited seats will be available for student transportation if necessary.*
Agenda:
6:00pm-Students will meet on campus outside Weyerhauser
6:30pm-Students will arrive at the Shadle Park Presbyterian Church
6:30-8:00pm-Students will plant seedlings, pull weeds, learn about Growing Neighbors, and have fun!
8:00pm-Students will leave the Shadle Park Presbyterian Church
8:30pm-Wrap up and send everyone home
