Hallowfest is an exciting community event at the West Central Community Center, designed to bring together families and friends for a night of fun, games, and Halloween spirit. This event will feature activities like face painting, a fishing booth, and more. Volunteers play a crucial role in making this event a success by helping with various tasks to ensure everything runs smoothly.
Volunteer Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Face Painting:
Volunteers will paint simple Halloween designs on children's faces. No professional experience is required, but a creative touch and patience with kids are helpful. Face painting materials will be provided.
2. Fishing Booth Operators:
Volunteers will help manage the fishing booth, ensuring that all participants have a fun and fair experience. This role involves handing out prizes and encouraging children as they participate.
3. Event Clean-Up:
After the event concludes, volunteers will assist with cleaning up the venue. This includes packing up materials, taking down decorations, and ensuring the area is left in good condition.
What to Wear:
Costumes are encouraged to enhance the festive atmosphere! Please choose a family-friendly costume that allows you to move comfortably and perform your volunteer duties.
How to Prepare:
No prior experience is necessary. Volunteers will receive a brief orientation on-site before the event begins. Please arrive at least 15 minutes early to get settled and receive instructions, Vehicle will be provided.
